Requesting a Refund

Our refund policy

Refund Policy

Because every Once Upon a Memory book is custom-created using your photos, characters, story details, and creative choices, all sales are final once a book has been finalized and sent into production.

Each book is personalized and made just for you, so it cannot be resold.

Important: Purchase is not the same as Finalize

To avoid confusion, please note:

  • Purchasing your book does not send it to print

  • Purchasing unlocks the full book so you can continue editing

  • Finalizing your book is the step that sends it for processing and printing

This means you still have time to review and edit your book after purchase and before finalizing.

Before you finalize

We want you to love your book, so we strongly encourage you to fully review everything before clicking Finalize.

Before finalizing, please:

  • Review the first 2 generated pages carefully before purchasing, since they help guide the rest of the book

  • Continue editing the remaining pages and cover after purchase

  • Use the edit and regenerate tools to improve any illustrations or story content

  • Upload additional reference photos during editing if needed

  • Confirm your shipping address carefully

  • Make sure your selected format is correct before finalizing

If you need help before finalizing, ask Meadow to talk to a person.

If something doesn’t look right

If a page, illustration, or character detail does not look right, please use the editing and regenerate tools before finalizing your book.
